I ordered their hand luggage cabin bag (Aerolite Super Lightweight 4 Wheels Soft Shell Cabin & Hold Luggage, Cabin Size Approved for Easy Jet) which was SEO listed on google based on the dimensions I needed

The case came, looked great, I was excited to use it

I recently flew with easy jet, I was cool as a cucumber trusting that this was easy jet approved according to the BOLD statements all over their site

However flying out of Switzerland I get hit with a 60 euro charge, because the wheels don't fit the dimensions!

The main product description said approved for easy jet cabin carry on case! The dimensions they list at a glance match the easy jet ones....they fail to make clear that the wheels are NOT included in the Easy Jet dimensions!

I raised this with them and to be fair, the customer service at the time was very good, responsive, admitted fault, agreed to put good the online description and issued me a full refund without question

However I'm still 60 euro down and will now need to purchase another case

They did not agree to refund me the charge and said and I quote "the information on the page isn't completely incorrect"

They said "Having reviewed the product page, this case is approved for EasyJet with a seat upgrade". However this is not referenced anywhere on the product page. In fact it says the opposite! There is an image with a host of airlines featured where it says you do have to pay to upgrade...the only one highlighted is Wizz Air, which is side by side with Easy jet on the image

False advertisement, and trying to find loopholes around being allowed to falsely advertise, is poor business and ethically wrong

They admitted fault but will not compensate me for their wrong doing

They thanked me for bringing it to their attention...I agree I should be thanked as I'm potentially saving them a lot of refunds for the same reason

They also did not approve or post my 1* review on their website for this product, which I find very shady and misleading. Everyone should be made aware that their product copy is not correct and should be triple checked before purchasing. This is why I came to trust pilot

Not a happy customer and won't be recommending to anyone

I was looking for a suitcase similar in size to another one I already own. I purchased from Aerolite based on the website measurements believing that the suitcase I was buying would be suitable in size. When the box arrived I was immediately struck by how the suitcase looked a lot smaller. My measurements confirmed that both the height and the width were 2cm below what the website description states. I immediately wrote to Aerolite requesting a return at their expense. They very quickly fobbed me off telling me my measurements were wrong (despite the fact that photographic proof was provided) and refused to pay return postage. They since ignored all my following emails trying to enforce my consumer rights. I would pay a bit more and avoid this company.

Yes, it is indeed a shame that I cannot supply the photos as it would be clear that they are fine and the company is shirking its responsibilities. We are not talking a few mm here. It is not possible to have an error of measurement of 20mm without it being obvious, especially when only the height and the width measurements were off and the depth measurement was correct. This petty argument just demostrates the company attitude. As I said before AVOID.

Ordered a set of 3 one didn’t make it after its first journey, like many people are saying warranty is rubbish. I have never had a suitcase split like this did. Definitely wouldn’t buy from them again. Basically their warranty does not cover anything. Plus you’re insinuating they’ve been mishandled how can that be confirmed?? They are definitely not suitable for any kind of holiday.

I can safely say this company is the best to buy the most unsuitable luggage from,you can only buy from Amazon eBay and themselves,as no reputable retailer will stock such poor quality rubbish.I purchased 2 25inch cases from them to go to Turkey on landing in Antalya both cases did not survive the trip! Thus I had to buy replacements for my return. There guarantee is not worth the paper it's written on.If you believe the write ups on this company you are sadly deluded do not buy anything from them . They ought to be prosecuted!

Lovely little cabin bag. I have wanted this for a while but it was often out of stock, I'm glad I waited as it was reduced. It seems very good quality and has lots of pockets and room for the size.

Absolutely brilliant , I love these suitcases , we travel so much we needed a good sturdy suitcases , so far we have had two sets in 10years and it’s been the airlines fault they had been damaged , just ordered another set and had lots of issue with Yodel not delivering, so contact Areolite and they sorted the issue out I got both sets the next day, can’t say how happy I am with everything , customer service , quality, everything , you will never go wrong buying these suitcases and with a 5 year warranty in them need I say more

Ordering and delivering is very simple. Communication is excellent and the suitcase is great.

Didnt receive free luggage scales with order.
But excellent aftersales service had them delivered the next day.
